Communicable Diseases

The Communicable Diseases (CD) Program addresses the spread of contagious diseases in Siskiyou County. The program works to contain diseases by:

• Verifying reports of diseases and outbreaks, and conducting investigations on reportable diseases. 
• Offering vaccines
• Providing case management services 
• Educating health providers and the public
• Collecting data on diseases
