Siskiyou County Office of Emergency Services Announces Cooling Center for Weekend Heat Wave
Yreka, CA – July 3, 2024 – The Siskiyou County Office of Emergency Services, in collaboration with the Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Division, Siskiyou County Public Health, and the City of Yreka, announces the opening of a Cooling Center this weekend to provide relief during the excessive and extreme heat wave.
The Cooling Center will be open to the entire community, offering a safe and cool environment for anyone needing reprieve from the expected extreme temperatures. Water will be provided at the center. Please note that no other food or amenities will be available.
