Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide quality investigations to the Siskiyou County Superior Court, enforce Court orders, hold offenders accountable, promote positive change in offender behavior through evidence-based practices and assist in restoring victims.

The Adult and Juvenile Units of the Siskiyou County Probation Department use the latest in evidence-based practices to monitor, assess, and educate offenders.
Departmental Facts
Adult Division
- Two Adult Unit Supervising Probation Officers, Eight Adult Probation Officers and two Probation Aides
- Dedicated staff are improving the lives and achieving success of offenders through work experience, group and individual counseling, journaling, and education.
- Evidence Based Supervision standards are utilized to combat recidivism and increase rehabilitation.
Juvenile Division/Charlie's Place Juvenile Day Reporting Center (Formerly CBYCC)
- Two Juvenile Unit Supervising Probation Officer, Four Juvenile Probation Officers and one Probation Aide.
- With a focus on prevention, the Truancy Reduction and Intervention Program was developed in 2017, and dedicated staff are working hard to get youth engaged in school.
- CBYCC was converted to Juvenile Day Reporting Center and Day Reporting School in 2018 that focuses on: individual and group therapy, journaling, counseling, mentoring, EBP programming, life skills, culinary program, job readiness, community work service and education.
Those youth that require detention are housed in the Tehama County Juvenile Detention Facility, and are transported by Juvenile Correctional Officers.
