Welcome to The Department of Public Works. The following are among Public Works’ responsibilities:

Construction and maintenance of 1,361 miles of maintained roadway and 175 bridges in unincorporated Siskiyou County.
Purchasing, maintenance and fueling of the County’s fleet system.
Engineering and surveying services for the County.

Please Note: If you are applying for a No Spray Zone on County road right-of-ways, you must also fill out an Encroachment Permit application as well.
