Fictitious Business Name Statements

The Fictitious Business Name (FBN) database is provided as a public service for your convenience. Updates and corrections occur on a regular basis and we have tried to ensure that the information in this electronic database is accurate. Neither the County nor the County Clerk shall incur any liability for errors or omissions with respect to the information provided in this index.

This database is not an official record for legal purposes but is a summary of some of the information contained on FBN statements filed in our office. The “Official Index” and original filed FBNs are available for review in the County Clerk’s Office during regular business hours. If an official, certified record or record search is needed, please contact us for more information.

The FBN database only contains records filed in Siskiyou County. FBNs are filed at the county level, so businesses in Shasta County, for example, will not appear in our database. If you are interested in a business based in another county, please contact that county.
