Clerk Functions

The County Clerk’s Office provides the following services:​

  • Clerk to the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors
  • Clerk to the Assessment Appeals Board
  • Filing Officer for Form 700 for Officials designated in the Conflict of Interest Code
  • Issues marriage licenses
  • Performs civil wedding ceremonies and deputizes persons to officiate at civil ceremonies
  • Administers Claims Against the County
  • Registers process servers, unlawful detainer assistants, professional photocopiers and notaries public .
  • Acceptance agent for passport applications
  • Filings for Fictitious Business Name Statements
