Siskiyou County GIS
GIS (Geographic Information System or Science) is a technology that helps people visualize spatial data to better understand the relationships in the world around them. It is also an analytical tool that provides insights into patterns, relationships, and situations, to help users make smarter decisions.
Many projects are under development including web-based maps and search tools which are available on the Maps and Apps page, Siskiyou County's ArcGIS Online Gallery, and Open Data Site which allows users to explore maps, applications, and download various GIS layers.
The County is also in the process of rebuilding the countywide GIS to expand and enhance capabilities for the public and Siskiyou County staff.
