RFP - On-Call GIS Services

The County of Siskiyou, located in Northern California and borders Oregon, is seeking GIS On-Call Services to supplement on-going GIS efforts and activities.

Siskiyou County currently has one full-time GIS Coordinator assigned to GIS duties countywide, and a GIS Specialist assigned to the Agriculture Department.

The County primarily utilizes Esri products through a Small Government Enterprise Licensing Agreement and currently provides GIS services to 18 county departments with a majority utilizing ArcGIS Online where department-specific web map applications have been created.

The goal of the RFP is for the selected proposer to supplement the GIS efforts and activities by assisting with a variety of tasks outlined in the scope of work (download PDF below).

The deadline to submit questions is October 24, 2023, and an addendum will be posted and distributed by October 27, 2023.

Proposals must be submitted by way of mail, hand delivery, and/or electronic means, as described below:

Hand Delivery: Hard copy proposals submitted by hand delivery must be received at Siskiyou County Administration, 1312 Fairlane Road, Yreka, CA 96097 on or before October 31, 2023, at 3:00pm (ATTN: Brandon Konicke, GIS Coordinator). Please note “RFP #23-06” on front of envelope.

Electronic Copy Submittal: Submit an electronic copy of the proposal via email. Electronic copies shall be emailed to Brandon Konicke, GIS Coordinator at bkonicke@co.siskiyou.ca.us and must be received by October 31, 2023, at 3:00pm. Please include “RFP #23-06” in the subject line.

Proposers shall provide One (1) original copy with signature and Three (3) exact copies of the original by hand or mail delivery, as instructed above.

Proposers submitting proposals electronically will only be required to send one signed copy.
