Museum - Six People Ten Questions & Our Sunday Spot Films By Steve Pestana
Local Scott Valley filmmaker Steve Pestana showcases two of his films on Friday, July 12, 2019 for the next installment of Siskiyou Stories at the Siskiyou County Museum. The program starts promptly at 12:10 pm at 910 South Main Street, Yreka in the Museum’s Conference Room.
The first film is titled: Six People, Ten Questions. “Meet six people who live on the edge of town." Even a small rural city in far Northern California has a homeless problem. In this short documentary you'll meet a few of the people who are living on the road or in the camps adjacent to Yreka, California, population 7,700. This production premiered on 9/20/18 at the 2018 FLIXX Fest film festival at Fort Jones, CA. The second film is titled: Our Sunday Spot and it is a real tearjerker. Many in the audience will relate to the sweet story.
Steve has a passion for the region he calls home and is fascinated by the landscape and the people, as you will see watching his excellent films. Each film is less than 20 minutes in length, which gives Steve time for questions and answers.
