Budget and Administration

This function covers development and maintenance of the County budget, advice to the Board of Supervisors and departments concerning all aspects of governmental operations, purchasing oversight for the County, oversight for a number of budgets and cost centers including: capital projects (courthouse construction, criminal justice construction and Accumulative Capital Outlay funds), Information Technology, and general County fire and emergency medical services. The majority of staff time is spent in areas related to advising the board and department heads in budgetary matters and general government day-to-day County operations.
