Notice is hereby given that the Department of Facilities Management of Siskiyou County, California will receive bids for the Government Center Parking Lot Improvements located at 311 4th Street, Yreka, CA on December 2nd, 2024 before 3:00pm at 1312 Fairlane, Suite 4, Yreka, CA 96097 or submitted electronically to Amanda Kimball, Director of Facilities Management at RFP_RFB_Submissions@co.siskiyou.ca.us.

The County is looking for a licensed and qualified contractor registered with the California Department of Industrial relations and will have to have a license with the City of Yreka. Each bidder is expected to examine carefully the site of the proposed work and the plans attached as Attachment B and the County Contract requirements in Attachment C. The submission of the bid shall be considered conclusive evidence that the bidder has made such examination and is satisfied as to the conditions to be encountered in performing the work and as to the requirements of the contract. It will be conclusive evidence that the bidder has also investigated and is satisfied with the source for all materials.

Plans, surveys, measurements, dimensions, calculations, estimates and statements as to the condition under which the work is to be performed are believed to be correct, the contractor must examine for themselves, as no allowance will be made for any errors or inaccuracies that maybe found therein. Bidder must provide a subcontractors list Attachment E, with bid if out sourcing work.

The project will consist or ripping out and remove the existing parking lot and update the ADA path of travel at the County’s Government Center located at 311 4th Street, back parking lot off Oregon and Butte. Contractor will haul off all debris and properly dispose of it, and then repave the parking lot and ADA path in compliance, also adhering to the plans for storm water regulations with the approved and permitted plans set forth in the Attachment “B”. Contractor must include the basic size or square footage of the Project area to assist in the asphalt bid calculations, and include any defensible and more detailed Scope of Work describing the Project.
