Possible Smoke Visible at Transfer Stations
On December 5th, 2023, the Green Waste (limbs, stumps) at the Black Butte Transfer Station will be burned. CALFIRE, in coordination with local fire departments, will be present during the burn.
On Wednesday, December 6th, the Green Waste (limbs & stumps) at the Oberlin Road Transfer Station will be burned. CALFIRE, in coordination with local fire departments, will present.
It is expected the piles will smolder for several days. Please do not be alarmed, this is a controlled burn!
