Updated Ordinance Information
On July 5, 2016, the Board of Supervisors certified the vote on the failed referendum on Ordinance 15-18 (Enforcement Provisions) and Ordinance 15-19 (Cultivation of Medical Marijuana.) Ordinance 15-18 and Ordinance 15-19 are in now in effect as of July 5, 2016. All related ordinances are linked below in Supporting Documents for your convenience.
On August 8, 2017 the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed Urgency Ordinance No. 17-11 establishing a moratorium on commercial cannabis activities (both medical and non-medical) in all the unincorporated territory of the County of Siskiyou. Ordinance No. 17-11 took effect on August 8, 2017. Since that time the Board of Supervisors has passed urgency measure, but by August 2019 the Board must have a permanent ordinance in place regarding Cannabis cultivation. How to File a Complaint
The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office is now responsible for all marijuana complaints. If you wish to report a suspected marijuana code violation please complete the Online Marijuana Crime Report. The form is located on the Sheriff's page along with other online reporting forms.
