Sheriff's Office Launches "Citizen RIMS" Portal

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the launch of our newest public - facing law enforcement information platform, Citizen RIMS. The decision to adopt this new platform was driven by the Sheriff’s Office’s commitment to transparency and keeping Siskiyou County residents informed of crime trends and enforcement efforts in their communities. Consequently, Citizen RIMS is an extension of the Sheriff Office’s own integrated public safety system that our Deputies utilize daily to record cases, citations, and arrests.

 Now available on our County website, Citizen RIMS will provide the general public access to an array of law enforcement data, such as recent arrests, stolen vehicles, or missing persons. Residents and business owners will also have the capability to register their home or business security systems with our office or request property checks while they are away.

 It is important to note that Citizen RIMS is a new platform for our department and remains a work in progress. In the coming weeks, our team will continue to populate the site with additional law enforcement data sets and will address any glitches if they arise, so we appreciate your patience during this time. Still, we welcome everyone to explore Citizen RIMS and find it a helpful tool for staying informed about law enforcement activity and public safety in our County.
