Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office Launches Unsolved Cases Website

Yreka, CA - The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the launch a new website for missing persons and unsolved homicide cases in Siskiyou County. The new website has been created in an ongoing effort by the Sheriff’s Office to obtain any information from the public that will assist in missing persons and homicide investigations.

Detective teams over the past 60 years have worked diligently on each case, and the Sheriff’s Office is hopeful that this new website will increase public engagement and raise awareness about each case, ultimately leading to their resolution. On the launch of the Unsolved Case Website, Sheriff LaRue stated:

“Every name on this list represents a life that matters, a person with a story, a family left searching for answers, and a community that hasn’t forgotten. As Sheriff, I want you to know that we are committed to finding the truth. We will not stop pursuing justice, following leads, and dedicating our resources to bringing closure to the families who deserve it. Our goal is not just to investigate these cases but to bring transparency and accountability for ensuring these loved ones are not forgotten."

Users of the site will note that not all missing persons or homicide cases that have occurred in the county are listed here; the cases displayed on the website are only those designed to be within the Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction. We encourage the public to visit the new website, read about each case, and share any relevant information they may with the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office.
