Permit Requirement and Information

You must submit a separate email request form for each permit.
If you request is received later than 7am it will be re-scheduled the next available day for that route. This depends upon the amounts of inspections for any given day.
Call 530-841-2100 after 8:30 am to talk to an inspector to get an estimated time for your inspection usually only (am or pm) times will be given.
The inspector may call your cell phone number when in route to give you an approximate time of the inspection. 

Inspection Route Areas:
Routes 1 and 5 - South County - Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Dunsmuir, McCloud, Mt. Shasta, Medicine Lake, Weed, Edgewood, Gazelle, South Shasta Valley,Fort Jones, Greenview, Etna, Callahan

Routes 2, 3 and 4 - North County - Tuesday and Thursday
Yreka, Montague, Grenada, Hornbrook, Hilt, Happy Camp, MacDoel, Dorris, Tulelake

The following webform can be filled out online and will automatically be submitted to the Building Division.

Please complete the form fields below with the appropriate selection for the inspection requested.  If the inspection request is received before 7:00 am you will received the inspection the same day if it is your route day, which is listed on your permit card.

Permit Number is a required field and is located on your permit.
Date Needed
Select the proposed inspection date from the calendar
Select your inspection route number as list on your permit card. Route 1 and 5 are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Route 2, 3, and 4 are Tuesday and Thursday.
Preferred Period
Optionally you may request a preferred inspection time (AM or PM). The preferred time is only a courtesy and not a guarantee.
